Thank you to everyone who made the trip to AZ. I spoke with a friend whose son played for NAU, and they were impressed with how well SDSU traveled.

Well played, SDSU. The Jackrabbits imposed their will on the OL and DL just as U of Arizona and Montana State did when they beat NAU. Your coaching staff obviously did their homework. Play like that and you certainly have a shot to win @ EWU. The Eagles offense is lights years better than NAU's was this season but their defense has been susceptible to giving up large amounts of yardage/points. Next week's winner has my support the rest of the way.

I was impressed with the numbers of Jackrabbit fans in attendance and found your fans very approachable while chatting pregame in the Skydome lot. Props for the long distance most of you travelled to watch your team. That is admirable. I hope you enjoyed your time in the nicest part of Arizona. I'm sorry NAU couldn't make a better game of it and that all the students were gone, which significantly quieted things down.

I wonder if Mr. Bendo knows that his long lost brother is just outside the end zone in the Flagstaff Skydome.

Thanks I wish I could have made the trip. It looks like the attendance was equal or about the same as last years SDSU hosted game against Eastern Illinois. It fell on Thanksgiving weekend, and a bunch of non-student fans did not show up along with students. Seems like the total was little over 5000 too, so low attendance goes with the times and territory.

EWU is going to be a challenge no doubt about that. We got some frigid weather coming this weekend so might be time to be a host.

I think if ZZ and Gandy go down in injuries, JeRyan might be a candidate to fill in. Lets hope every one is healthy and we don't have to make these kind of choices. Just say'n.

I believe they are referring to the big rather primitive-looking lumberjack figure that was stationed behind one of the end zones.

If we played NAU 10 times we would win 10 times because we were just bigger and as the game progresses, we will eventually wear them out.

I will say I am happy about my decision to forgo the MBB games at UC-Santa Barbara and Stanford and drive 800 miles to Flagstaff. Still trying to convince myself to fly to EWU for the next game. I am tired after driving all day, so maybe tomorrow I will be more motivated to book more travel for this weekend.

The crowd was good for the Jacks at the game for only 300 people. That was one of the better experiences I have had a football game in a while.

                  Go Jacks!!
May even be able to score some Cyber Monday on-line travel specials. All my mileage airlines sent notices of specials TODAY ONLY.

That's what I was thinking. I think my bendos family is all over the place. I know I have seen them elsewhere.

Please be quiet. We don't even want to have such thoughts, much less do we want to speak (or type) those words.

Just saying JaRyan is a very capable athlete and could fill in at tailback if the need did arise. It would have been great to have someone like that in the NDSU game that we won in Fargo, when Berry suffered the concussion and the his back up went out with an injury. NAU was sort of in that position with both QB's injuries. Not trying to revive the TAB argument, but some of our positions are two deep and the third deep is often totally unexperienced. I see no harm in mentioning this nor the fact that the SDSU kids from Arizona had something to prove in the Walk up Dome. What would we have done without the Arizona guys?

Thanks, I was riding back from a family gathering, and was relying on The Big Friend, WNAX for the description, so missed all this pageantry.

I know and I wasn't trying to bash, I just got a chill thinking of the possibility of needing to go that deep on the depth chart. No disrespect to JaRyan either, he would likely prove to be very capable as he has shown his versatile ability already for this team.

Now I'm actually picturing the TD run that Vikings WR Patterson had on Sunday against the Bears. Or some of the things the Vikes used to do with Percy Harvin out of the backfield.

His name is Je Ryan. If we are putting him at RB, let's get his name right...
