Not sure I'm getting what you are trying to put down. My point was that you can just blatantly say there has never been a 19th seed to win a NC and say that is a trend. That's like flipping a quarter twice and it comes up heads both times so you summarize that 100% of the time the quarter will come up heads.
Ok, how's this. In the last 34 years of this playoff system, a 19th seed has never won the championship. I'd say that's more of a drought or curse than a trend. And yeah, if I flip a quarter 34 times and it comes up heads every time, I'm double checking both sides of the quarter and then immediately going out and buying a lottery ticket.

Hey genius, there has only been a 19 seed for 3 years... that equals 3 years of "this" playoff system.

Haha. Funny part is I already established the fact that its only been this way since 2010 and he goes and says that there has been a 19 seed for 34 years.

All the history and "proof" that the Bison fans keep throwing at us has definitely proven their point to me = they're extremely worried about us knocking them off tomorrow. They should be. Jacks are playing really well right now and they know it. Bison peaked about 6 weeks ago and they know it.

Call me crazy, but I don't think their "storied history" is going to have any effect on tomorrow's game.

Haven't you learned, Witness? Facts don't matter, and Bison never lose, someone else messes up. Which leads me back to my nomination for the Official Bison Fan Club Joke:
Q. Why do camels get two humps while bison only get one?
Man. I am so ready for this game to get here. I go over to Bisonville too much and read just how arrogant their comments are. Nothing would be better than to beat them in their house when they are expecting a 14+pt win.

Correct. And the Bison won the playoff game for clarification with a score of 43-21.
The last time the Jacks played the same team twice was 1992 and we won both games. So if we look at the history like ndsu fans like to do. Out of both teams second time playing the same team in the same season the home team always loses the second game. So I guess for the first time in the "(3)4" years of the playoffs the 19th seed, even though its just a media rank will beat the actual number one team. Bring on the Bison.
Bison are favored to win and expected to do the same by most everyone, rightfully so. The Jacks have not been as consistent on a week to week basis including that ugly loss at UNI and a fortunate victory at SIU. NDSU is the defending champ and #1 ranked in the nation. They are playing at home in front of a capacity crowd and have dominated the Jackrabbits in Fargo in the past.
That said, the Jacks have been playing great on the defensive side of the ball and NDSU has been inconsistent on offense. Bison are prone to turning it over in some big spots. Jacks have a better running game and I think they will have more success tomorrow than they did in the first game. Mix in Sumner's improved composure in the pocket and the Jacks have a well-balanced attack.
What is lacking for SDSU is a top tier WR and a downfield threat. The Bison have such a strong secondary and I think about the only way to establish any underneath passing game is to stretch them with some throws down the field. Of course, all of that will depend on the Oline making holes for Zenner and protecting Sumner.
Its going to be a battle and will likely come down to execution and turnovers. The Jacks have been much better on special teams the last half of the season and that will need to continue.
Going to be another whale of a game. All the pressure is on the Bison. The arrogance of their fan base is an earned one. That doesn't change anything on the field. A win for SDSU tomorrow and the shift of power to the south can begin in earnest.

Your theory is quite wrong, you are forgetting the fact that in 92 when you played the same team twice that the team that won the first game also won the second. So by that logic, NDSU will win again. How is that for a history lesson, do you want to take your test over again?
