from a money stand point it makes sense. From following the chance of a dream. tough to put a price on that. I be there are many who went through never saw the field or got any assistant with school, but would do it all over again because how much they love neb football. I doubt many regret it.

Check it out and this is correct, Graham said he'll be walking on at Nebraska. From the following tweets it sounds like he grew up a huge Husker fan so can't fault him for going after his dream, though he has an uphill battle being there are already 3 walkon RBs in his class and I'm sure they'll get at least one scholarship back.

I honestly don't have a problem with the Nebraska's walkon program, but I really hope their coaches are being straight with these kids on their chances of making the team, let alone seeing the field.

I wonder where Moritko will end up? I doubt he stays at safety, I would guess either TE, DE, or LB.

He's defiantly a known name up here in the cities as one of the top high school players for 2012.

I was tracking Duke Anyanwu from Blaine, Andrew Larson from Eden Prairie, DJ Hebert from Osseo, & Moritko from Totino-Grace.

Out of the 4, Moritko was the one I thought we had the furthest chance of getting a verbal. Anyanwu ended up going to Minnesota, Larson to Harvard, & Hebert to UNI.

I'm not sure if Eidness had anything to do with this but I have a feeling he is one of the reasons we have really focused on getting kids from the Minneapolis metro the past 2 years. (especially last year)

Who is the better of the two? IMHO Dylan is a better CB. Garrett is better with the ball in his hands. But you can see from their highlights they are identical.

What are they being recruited for? They get the typical ATH label. They both played safety and corner on defense and both saw time at receiver/running back on offense. Dylan moved to QB permanently after the 4th game because Fort Hill had to make sure they had the ball on every snap. They get recruited for all these positions other than QB. As an example, the Villanova coach first requested that Dylan come on an official visit. One month later he changed his mind and said they wanted Garrett on an official visit.

Every FBS, FCS, D2 and D3 coach I talk with say they are without a doubt high level FCS players. Then why not offer? The usually say they can offer one, not sure if we have the money for both. Now they have FBS schools begging them to walk-on after financial aid forms come back. But yes, their height always comes into question with the FBS schools. They have 6% body fat and squat 400. They aren’t the ones that go backwards on the hits. I hope they get a chance to prove me right, but they would wind up All-Conference players. And I say that with all due respect for the Missouri Valley.

Not sure if SDSU has many open spots left based on your number of offers with this forum list. The only text I received was that they loved the school and would commit on the spot. Their mom could not afford to make the trip with them. But she wants what they want.

    Thanks for the feedback.

So any word from these two on their recruitment? Do you have any observations about SDSU? Did they compare their visit to anywhere else and was it bad/good, etc?

Sam Foltz, safety from Grand Island, NE commits to preferred walk-on for Huskers. Too bad, this kid is fast and has very good size and hands. Three sport athlete that could take it to next level with focus on one sport.

This is a good player to get. I know we haven't gotten the quantity of Twin City Metro players, but we sure have gotten quality players the past few years. Very excited about his potential to play about 5 different positions.

Very excited about this. Kid was selected to the Kare 11 All-Metro Team in the Twin Cites and has a high ceiling.

Here is a highlight video of him:
