Biggest hurdle heading into the weekend? I believe it's beating a team (ORU) on their homefield. That goes for every team in the tourney not named ORU. It's going to be a difficult task but it CAN BE DONE!

If the powers that be in the Sioux Falls area are reading this post I believe the Sioux Falls Stadium would be an excellent venue for this tourney. Just a thought. Any advantage we can give the Rabbits in any sport is well worth the effort. I have a strange feeling Rabbit fans would outdraw the ORU faithful. GO RABBITS!

Jacks need to throttle Oakland in the 1st game, then be ready for Centenary's #2 pitcher, or ORU. IMHO, unknowledgeable as that is, the Gents #1 Pitcher is almost a guaranteed L. The problem for the Gents, is that he's the ONLY guaranteed player, and once he's done, then they have little to hang their caps on.

Jacks should make it to Fri. without an L. I'll note that we split the Griz series 2-2. 10 runned Griz first two, and then two tight games, with Jacks falling.

A few questions I'm hoping someone can answer. Is today's game on 910AM? Are all the SDSU tourney games on 910? And does the single reach down to SF or can you listen live online? Thanks in advance!

Yes to on 910 AM. Yes to all the games being on 910 AM. GoJacks.com has it available via internet, and I believe for no charge as it is a tourney game. It may also be available via 910 website.

I think if someone hits one from Brookings that gets all the way to Sioux Falls, it definitely would be the longest single in Jacks history.

Eagles announcer was very matter-of-fact about the consistent come from behind win by the Jacks.

Glad that ORU and Cent both burned their best starting pitcher, and Jacks held off.

Whoever wins between the two unbeatens tomorrow would be considered to be the prohibitive favorite to win the whole thing,one would think.Jacks have opportunity for another first,besides being the first Summit team to take a series from ORU, they can be the first to dethrone them also.We have our best starter to throw at them,& the bats are starting to come alive.I think we,ve got a pretty good chance at making this the best year ever for jackrabbit baseball.Win or lose,it's been a good year anyway.

Yes, should be a 3 PM start, assuming the Cent/OU game doesn't go extra innings. When I started listening to the ORU/Cent at 7:45 last night, they were just in the bottom of the 1st inning. Could have been a delayed start due to the Jacks/Griz extra inning game.

Does anyone know if the 10 run rule applies in tourney/ NCAA tourney? I'd love to see the Jacks humble ORU today. I have a feeling that Jacks will see the Eagles again Sat.

There is no 10 run rule in the tournament.
