USD dropped baseball back when they dropped wrestling I believe? Another recruiting plus is that Iowa State (I think) dropped baseball a couple of years ago. That should give the Jacks access to some pretty good baseball players in northern and western Iowa.

USD dropped baseball (for the second time, dropped it in the '80s and brought it back) after wrestling (they dropped baseball for the second time after they lost their most recent title IX law suit).

Iowa State dropped baseball in 2001 and Northern Iowa dropped baseball after the 2009 season.
