Oh no. I asked two days too late. That's a big screwup on my end. Should have been looking instead of waiting for that type of info to land in my lap like it did when TV was covering the Jacks.

It sure wasnt promoted very well. I never heard a word about it. Last year i got an email and i thought there was something on the Summit League site. Done think the Argus or Kelo had anything about it either unless i missed it. Guess i looked in all the wrong places.

I have not seen any mention of a link between buying Summit baseball tickets and getting early access to Summit basketball tickets (like last year). Anyone hear anything about this?

There has been an article on GoJacks for the last 2 or 3 weeks. Apparently they are going to be tying baseball tickets into presale of two year passes for the basketball tournament, which I'm not sure I understand.

I probably would not have done that anyway. I buy 8 tickets, which was over $1000. If i had to pay for 2 years, it would have been a little too much at one time.

Jacks offense was really good early, getting all 7 runs in the first 4 innings. Then IPFW changed pitchers and the Jacks only got 2 hits the rest of the way. Bray really battled and only gave up 3 hits and one run until the 2 run homer in the 8th. When they had the big lead , I was surprised they didn't pull him a little earlier. Throwing 110 pitches doesn't give much of a chance to bring him back for the rest of the week.

Agreed. Last year you could not miss it. I'm pretty disappointed in myself for letting it get away this year. Too much going on the last couple weeks. When the time comes, I'd be glad to offer a little cash to someone who has the presale code. Keep me in mind if you do. That tournament is definitely the highlight of my sports year and great seats are worth the trouble.

It would be amazing pull out a win tonight and put ORU into the position of facing an elimination game. Obviously you don't want to have to beat them two times straight. I'm hoping to get up and see a game. It looks like tonight's weather will be pretty good.

Good to see some buzz on the site. Scored early and often made for a pretty easy night. Marcus got into some trouble in the 8th but after Coach Schrage got in his ear (the best he could from down there. If you catch my drift) and he worked his way out of it.

On to ORU. ORU saved their #1 so it should be a difficult test. Our players are tough kids. They'll compete hard. Which makes them a really fun group to watch.

Announced crowd of 983. Coach Schrage asked for a 1000 more Rabbits fans for tonight in his post game interview last night. Tonight should be a great night to go to The Cage enjoy a cold beer, hot dog and root on the Rabbits.

The Bison lose in the elimination game 15-5. Loser of tonight's game will play the Dons.

SDSU up 2-0 in the top of the third. Scored both on a home run in the first. ORU's pitcher just left the game with an injury. Nothing happening other than the Jacks home run.

Tied 2-2 going into the 5th. ORU had bases loaded with no outs and hit a double. SDSU got out of the inning by a run down between 3rd and home and an inning ending double play.

Thanks for the updates. I wish they were better news but I guess we have to take the good with the bad. We should be able to handle Fort Way, but ORU twice? Going to take some great effort to keep the season alive.
