That was a difficult loss. It does sound like we got hosed when one of Western's runners was hit by the ball going from 2nd to 3rd. It would have been a dead ball third out - instead it went as a two run error on the Jacks. That lead to the final score of 4 - 2. Going to have to take the difficult route now and come out of the losers bracket. With the Jacks pitching depth it can be done. 2 pm today weather and previous game lenght considered.Originally posted by jacks1 View Post

SDSU eliminated Oakland from the tourney yesterday with an 8-4 victory. Today, NDSU 3, Western Illinois 0 in a game that started at 11:00 A.M. Central. The Jacks will now face (correction here) Western Illinois at 2:00 Central.
The Bison v Western Illinois game went for 1 hour, 59 minutes.

Western Illinois scored 2 in the first inning. Right now (about 2:55 p.m.) it's top of the fourth (Western batting) and the score is now 3-0, Western Illinois.

Couldn't get any offense going and the sixth innning is in the books. Score remains the same: WIU 4, SDSU 2.
