    Re: NDSU suspends Flowers indefinitely

Flowers only had a few good offensive games, he was decent defensively and a pretty good rebounder. Probably not a huge loss in the grand scheme of things, but it does force Aaberg(a true freshmen) to play more. He has done a fairly good job, but he isn't quite ready to face athletic bigs like ORU has.

If you want to talk about losses. Coleman was pretty major and Felt also hurts since he was just starting to find a groove before he got hurt, both might get medical redshirts though.

So is Felt done for the year?

Most likely, his injury isn't responding to treatment.

Injuries happen, that is understood. When a student, athlete or not, is representing a university and receiving payment to further their education from various sources at that university they should recognize an obligation to fulfill some expectations as it pertains to that award. I don't think that obligation ceases to exist when a student exists the classroom or and athlete walks away from the playing field. Supporters of Bison athletics should support the program for making the right decision as it pertains to this young man. He needs to shift his priorities from athletics to other sources. I don't care how big a role he might have played for NDSU this year.
