Second SEC win for ORU. 76-63 final. I watched the last two minutes. They said Missouri tied the game a few times but never had the lead. The other win was a 21 point one at Arkansas. ORU was 86 NET and Missouri was 60 prior to the game. If ORU's NET goes below 80, a game at ORU would count as a quad 2 game.

Warrennolan had Missoui as 11 point favorites using their predictor. Great win for ORU. Coach Kelsi Musick's ORU page says she signed an extension this past summer. ORU should set new terms.

NDSU puts together a good first half to lead Boise St by 14. The Bison hold on to win 70-66 in Seattle. 41 turnovers between the 2 teams. 48 fouls and 48 free throws in this game. The Bison starters log big minutes in the win.

With exception of a few lower division games, the OOC is essentially over for Summit women. The teams are listed to match the preseason projections.
          1. SDSU 10-3
          2. ORU 10-3 2 wins over SEC teams//83 pt/game//16.7 assist/game//ORU has improved the rebounds up to 41/game
          3. NDSU 7-5 Bison had 4 home games in OOC
          4. USD 6-8 Big win was over 9-3 NAU
          5. St Thomas 8-5 5-2 home record with losses to Drake & No Colorado
          6. Denver 7-6 Pios shoot 49% of their shots from 3//Big win was over No Colorado
          7. UND 5-8 The D1 wins were EIU & Weber St
          8. KC 3-11 Roos are scoring 58pts/game while shooting 38%fg & 20.7% 3pt with 19 turnovers/game
          9. Omaha 8-5 (home 4-1) Mavs had a 7 game win streak that included Portland St, Sac St, Utah Valley, San Diego, & Utah St
We will see if the Mavs and Pios are able to move up this season. It appears the yotes, fhawks, & roos could settle to the bottom third if the OOC reflects the outlook.

There are not too many surprises through the first quarter of the conference play. The yotes are showing some surge with the play of Larkins scoring. NDSU took care of ORU in Fargo to remain undefeated. Road losses appear to have a large impact for the women as the Jackrabbits are the only team with a winning record(including OOC) this far into the season. It looks like SDSU, NDSU, ORU, & USD will be the top half of the conference with the odds of winning most of the road wins. The bottom 5 will fight to stay out of 8/9 SLT seed game.

St Thomas moves into the win column defeating Omaha on the road.
NDSU goes 0-6FG in the 4th quarter. They were 4-4 from the free throw line in the 4th. The bison turn the ball over 25 times in the loss to KC in KC.
Denver remains winless losing to ORU.

All the women's games are today on Wednesday. The top 3 teams(ORU, NDSU & SDSU) are on the road. Omaha visits Denver. Is it possible that all the road teams win on the Wednesday that all the games are on Wednesday? It is definitely a change from the mirror schedule.

Denver WBB is the last women's team to get a win. The Denver men are still without a W in conference.

                    Final standings vs preseason poll

                    2. ORU (2)
                    3. NDSU (3)
                    4. STU (5)
                    5. UND (7)
                    6. UMKC (8)

Which is the more prestigious tourney now? WBIT or WNIT?

The WBIT has a bunch of power conference teams, the WNIT has Rutgers (11-19). On paper, there’s no doubt which would be cooler to win.

my favorite twitter coach had a take on this one, too. There's something like 4 MVC teams in the WBIT, and I assume all 6 or 7 of those #1 seed non power who lost in conference play like UNLV, JMU, etc. The games will be good (hopefully) with some of the better mid-majors going against some those outside the bubble power teams. As an example, Arizona State (19-13 NET 58) is set to play NAU (25-7 NET 94). Wish this one was at NAU, but ASU is hosting. Looks like it's a 2 hour drive

ORU down 25 to Missouri State at the half. Musick's name brought up with Arkansas gig
