  • MBB Summit 2024-25

The men's season opened with a few bigger games on Monday. The Yotes handled SWAC Southern 93-79. Denver was smothered by Stanford 85-62. 82-58 was the losing score for the Fighting Hawks at Colorado St. Tonight the yotes host Texas A&M Commerce and the Golden Eagles fly into Minnesota. ORU was the 5th place choice preseason for the Summit. This game could verify or reject that position.
Best to remember these are kids and they are doing everything they can to entertain us, be scholars, and all in all be great humans. Jackedforlife

The yotes score over 90 points again to win 91-83. They had almost 20 point lead in 2nd half. ORU loses 80-57 to Minnesota. There are many new names on that roster which includes 4 freshmen and 9 that have transferred during their career. Omaha at Stetson and Illinois St at NDSU are tonight's games.

Doug Gottlieb starting his coaching career out at 0-2…that’s a shame

Omaha loses by 4 at Williams Arena. Hard to know how much to take from that, because the Gophers aren't very good.

Again, that may say just as much about ORU as it does Minnesota. Gophers are widely predicted to finish last in the eighteen team Big Ten. And I say that as a Gopher fan.
