The way this was handled led people to believe the position was opening up. Elsen was surprised because of this comment "There isn't a coach in the country that is more optimistic and excited about their team than I am right now." @JeffWulbrun from Denver's MBBall page 7 days ago.
The Yotes lose to NDSU in Fargo. Bison without Moni due to injury. It sounds precautionary as this game meant nothing in the standings.

It could mean something for us. NDSU locking up the 4 seed means that if we end up tied with St. Thomas for second, the Tommies would win the tie-breaker since they swept the Bison and we split.
With all the games the SL plays with the tickets I highly encourage SDSU fans to sit out the semifinals tonight. Show the league what this tournament would look like minus the SDSU fanbase. This ticket “fairness” obsession the conference has is so stupid. SDSU has carried this conference tournament for 17 years. In know you paid for the tickets but I highly encourage youSDSU fans to sit this one out tonight!

Go Rabbbits!
Disagree.
If attendance is down, the league is more likely to move the tournament to Omaha.

Show up and support Omaha and UND.
The tickets are already sold. That’s all they care about. If they go to Omaha the afternoon sessions will draw 500 people and the night sessions maybe 1500. Let the SL try it. It would be the dumbest decision by any conference (especially a mid major) ever. It time to take a stand. The SL needs to understand who butters their bread!
