I don't know about the F Hawks but we might figure something about the Yotes in the next three games. They are Omaha at home (3-0), @ NDSU (2-0) and at home against SDSU (3-1). They are the top three teams record wise in the conference right now. They also have 2 of those 3 games at home. If they fall to 2-4 or 1-5, they will have too much ground to make up to win the league. They might have to settle for somewhere around 4th place in the league. If they happen to will all 3 games, they would be 4-2 and only one game (or so) back in the standings.

    T. Peterson: 32.0

That is a very strong and balanced starting five in the Summit, but their bench is contributing very little in minutes or production.

    A. Arains: 28.8 min/game

We all found out last year the toll that takes.

Also, starting 4 seniors and 1 junior and getting nothing from the bench doesn't bode well for the future.

Simpson picked up 4 of his 5 fouls in the second half. It appeared to me that he is not quite in game shape yet with the grab type fouls. 13 of the 19 personal fouls were in 2nd half. Hagedorn was getting his blows in 2nd half at the line where shot 9-10.

    Some big games this week.

    Wednesday
UNO @ UND - two of the three teams left that are undefeated.
PFW @ Western - both have big wins over USD, yet both need wins to stay in the race.
SDSU @ Denver - road wins are important for conference titles, Denver has lost so many competitive games this year and needs a win.

    Thursday
NDSU @ ORU - NDSU needs to win some road games to solidify spot on top, ORU is good and needs to hold serve at home.

    Saturday
Denver @ WIU - both need a victory to build momentum with hopes of making tourney.
UNO @ USD - two very good teams, but the Yotes really need a victory to stay in race.
SDSU @ PFW - again, road wins are important.
UND @ ORU - UND could be as high as 4-0 after this one or as low as 2-2 and where most expected they'd be in the Summit.

Would have been nice to see Denver get that win.
