North Dakota and ORU still have Oregon St and BYU to play OOC. The not a big surprise other than Omaha with a few more losses than predicted. Summit begins soon,

With Hagedorn coming back to join a senior-heavy roster, I expected more out of USD. If they don't get it done this year, things don't look better in the future.

I checked the Sagarin ratings and UMKC would be #6 in a 10-team Summit League this year (and ahead of departing Ft. Wayne). They're #3 in the WAC to this point this year. They're looking to Not Be Awful under Donlan.

I could never figure out why Donlan was axed at Wright State. Seemed to be a pretty good coach with an acceptable record. UMKC might be stronger than we think next year. The Swinney is definitely a cracker box but the atmosphere isn't that bad although definitely with a D2 feel. Looking forward to having them back next year since they're closer to me than anybody but WIU and not as depressing as the Necks.

Are we sure usd isnt going to lose a game in conference? Usd men are no where near past great sdsu or ndsu or oakland teams and they still had a few losses.

USD pretty decent I'd say, that's some pretty good competition and sc usually steam rolls non P-5 schools and a lot of them too.They gave a pretty good account of themselves.

Yotes shooting 2-13 from the arc is the wild card they needed to gain the upset. If we can limit them to 15%, we could have more than a puncher's chance. AJ & staff might see if there is a way to duplicate that defense. 20 point deficit at end of 3rd quarter seems like too steep of a hill for the yotes.

USD settling down and holding their own somewhat. Fouls are going to eat them up though.

USD just not handling the rebound discrepency, the taller Gamecocks dominating (crashing hard on misses)the boards,Yotes can't make shots,a lot of missed layups, the height bothering them there too? If not for how hard they're playing (Yotes) , it could be much worse for them.
