I don't know much about Montana State's team this year but normally Montana State is a good basketball team -- nice win for the Bison.

They will finish towards the bottom of the Big Sky for sure, definitely in the rebuilding stages. Still any road win is a good win.

ORU tied with Weber State at the half 24-24

ORU's offense looks just as bad as SDSU's offense right now.

ORU loses on a buzzer beat at Weber State. 62-61. ORU had a chance to win it with 1.8 second left but the Eagles turned it over and didn't get a shot off.

Omaha is playing K-State on FSN tonight. They're tied with 4:00 to go in the first. UNO looks pretty good.

Let's just say I'm glad they will not be playing in Sioux Falls this year. The loss they came in and pinned on us last January essentially ended up costing us a top-2 seed and a day off in the tourney. We all know how that worked out. UNO will do some damage again this year.

It seems like UNO struggles in half-court offense but deadly during transition. If you get back on D that definitely limits UNO's offense.

I thought Omaha had some good moves in this game even though KSU is holding its lead. Omaha has some athletes.

The lone MBB is Youngstown in Vermillion. The Penquins get a big lead and hold off the Yotes. The Penquins shoot over 53% from field to win 87-79.

Summit goes 3-1 on 12-6. IUPUI(2-5) loses to Evansville 89-62. IPFW(5-2) wins 86-78 over Miami Ohio. Denver(4-3) beats Texas A&M CC 64-48. The Jacks of course handle the Roos by 20 at Frost.

The Summit men will have 2 games today as the power went out at ORU to cancel the game with Mo State. The Leathernecks were handled 76-54 by Cleveland St. The Bison will play later at Montana.

You can get a good look at IPFW tonight while they play against a solid Purdue team on ESPNU. (UND play Minnesota on ESPNU after the IPFW/Purdue game)

Bison lose on the road to Montana 69-57.

The Bison appear to be a bit thin. Alexander played 40 minutes and scored 29. 3 other starters played more than 34 minutes and only 2 players came off the bench for 30 minutes. It seems they have some needs to develop from the bench. They may lose a few of the Top 25 votes.

They shouldn't be getting any votes in tomorrows new poll imo. I don't see any Summit teams really deserving right now except for IPFW who have played a pretty weak schedule so far. They will be tested in their next couple of game though against Purdue, Valpo, and Illinois State.

Jacobson was out during the Montana game but they still do have a short bench and have no post presence. They have no outside threat either besides LA and maybe Miller and AJ Jacobson who have been really inconstant. They will be up and down all season.
