Is BYU running on last year's fumes? The loss of Hamson must not alter expectations. It would be a good thing to get a win over the #1 ranked team!

I wish for the return to the glory days, when we were higher ranked than ND (2008-2009 ,week 15>). Of course, ND's come a long ways in 5 short years. Muffet McGraw keeps the bar high, so does AJ.

That said, I join you in your wish. A win over BYU would be an excellent way to start the season.

I would think so. I highly doubt BYU will be as good as they were last season. SDSU still hold the nations 3rd(?) longest home game winning streak in D1. A win would be huge and a great way to start off the season.

How did FGCU leap SDSU after SDSU beat the #1 team? Apparently having a 24 point lead and winning the game by 10 against the #1 mid-major wasn't that impressive.

The fact that NDSU received votes in the men's version tells you all you need to know about the validity of these early-season polls. It's voodoo when most teams have only played a game or two.

There is a misprint somewhere for BYU. The vote total is 535 for #4 which fewer that #5, #6, and #7. It must have been 635 or there is a mistake in the ranking.

                    11/25

SDSU falls to #12 after a couple loses to Big East teams and a win against a poor SHSU team.

                          NDSU, why?

Possible voter errors? Couldn't remember if it was South, No Wait, North Dakota State U., or South Dakota. Note the North Dakota also getting votes (UND is legit as likely top Big Sky team).

At least in the mid-major, can't get confused for San Diego St, like occurred in 08-09 in coaches' and AP top 25.

Jacks win these next 3, they may start getting AP top 25 votes. Especially if take down Green Bay.

When did the Bison start a WBB program back up? I thought they gave that up for Lent a decade ago and just went with it.
