MBB: USD 64, WIU 54, Final. USD (12-15, 6-6) wraps up a 5 seed. WIU (3-9) will be the 6 seed. WIU hosts IPFW Thurs. night, a WIU win would help SDSU.

So with our win and IUPUI's loss, does this mean we are the number one seed? Even if we end tied, i would think our 2 wins against IPFW would be the clincher, since IUPUI lost to IPFW.

Yes. Congrats to the ladies. The regular season crown is theirs. Of course it is nothing compared to the Tournament title, but a banner is a banner!

That would be true in IPFW ends up in third. But both WIU and USD could still end up third , so at this point all we can say is that we have clinched at least a share of the title. Win one of the last two and it is an outright title.

We swept Western and so would IUPUI. If we would end up tied, that would mean we would split with USD and so did IUPUI. So it would still come down to IPFW and since we swept them and IUPUI didnt, that gives us the tie breaker. NO?

It will be easy to root against the Pioneers in Brookings Thursday. Jackrabbits can control if the Pioneers fall behind in the seeding. Root for the Leathernecks and Mavs when they play Ft Wayne next week.

MBB: DU is gonna win. They're up 20 on Omaha in the 2nd half. There will be a 3 way tie for 2nd when the Pios visit Frost on Thursday night. A Jacks win Thurs night clinches at least a 3 seed for SDSU and a 4 seed for DU.

Two games to go for everyone. Plenty to get sorted out.

Tonight's MBB games:

-FW @ WIU. FW is 2-3 in road conference games and has one last road trip. We need them to pick up a loss. They beat WIU by 13 at home a few weeks ago.

-Denver @ SDSU. Denver was over-hyped early then written off and mocked in the middle of the schedule. In reality, Dykstra's crazy last-second scoring outburst a few weeks ago is the only thing keeping them from currently being all alone in second place with a chance to win the league. A win tonight would lock them into the top-3 and probably lock us out. Midco got it right putting this game on TV.

-USD @ NDSU. I expect a comfy NDSU win.

- IUPUI @ Omaha. Irrelevant in every way.

Tonight's WBB games:

- Seeds 3, 4, and 5 have to get sorted out. Three teams are tied at 6-6 (USD, FW, and WIU). FW and USD get their last two games at home and will probably end up as 3 and 4. WIU @ FW is probably the best game tonight.
