I'd much prefer NDSU would kick the snot out of UND but right now, 1:23 to play, its UND 91, NDSU 75. NDSU looks terrible; UND not too bad. Refs and the new rules had a tremendous impact on the game.

Yes, we want the bison to win this game. Not good for the Summit, and sadly the Jacks lost to Montana as well.

UND was much quicker than the Bison. If not for Braun, who scored something like 35 points, the Bison might have lost by 30 or more. The Jacks will get a crack at UND in December in Grand Forks.

With the new rules players that attach the basket are going to be rewarded. Braun shot 22 fts. UND has some quick guards that are going to give the Jacks trouble and test our "depth". Wasn't impressed with the Bison tonight, their vaunted lock down defense left a little to be desired.

I see that the bison had 30 fouls and und had 27. Also, 4 starters fouled out for the bison. und shot 51% from the field to 41% for the bison. Only 4 assists for the bison compared to 14 for und. The bench points for the bison only 11 compared to 27. It may have been more than fouls to bring down the bison(not that 57 fouls for a game is good). The Summit has had a horrible OOC record.

Seems every game has 50+ fouls. Any chance the rules get changed back to what they were before this season?

I hope not. Gotta take the lumps now and trust that it will end with being a better product.

Tonight's game was bad and unwatchable. Lot of it was on the Bison and some of it was on the refs who took over the game. The bus ride home isn't long enough for this one to sink in.

I do think the refs will ease up as the season moves on but it won't ever get as physical as it was.

Don't worry folks they're going to make the tourney. This is all part of NDSU's plan as they walk right through the Summit to the NCAAs. Their coach and players even say so.

One hell of an athletic club that NDSU. And Saul, well; we all know the NCAA tourney is a given. Saul needs to shut up and get his team ready to play.

Meh. I was gonna smack but it was only a year ago, almost to the day that we needed a 3 pointer at the buzzer to beat UND on our own floor. We still won the tournament. I expect NDSU to be right there come tourny time.

NDSU fell behind early and never really recovered. Seems like the last few years they go through these long scoring droughts and then try and make a comeback. Not a good game and with all the fouls called the Bison might need to pull a redshirt. The Bison are not very deep as they have two players with injuries. That is not an excuse just pointing out they don't have that many players. I do remember a couple of seasons ago the Jacks went up to UND and got beat handily as well but ended up winning the Summit League and made the Big Dance.
