Best team in the Dakotas...

Somebody told me this morning that there's a story in the Argus Leader dubbing USF the best football team in the Dakotas. I haven't found it online. Has anybody else seen it? I'd be interested in it, that's for sure. Can't help but assume it follows the "Poly beat SDSU and UND beat Poly and USF beat UND philosophy."

It is just a comment made to the college football articles. It appears to have been made tongue in cheek by a fan of USF.

This kind of logic is amusing, but beyond flawed. I believe a case could have been made a couple years ago that Grand Valley State (DII) was a top 5 NCAA Division I basketball team due to their upset of Michigan State in an exhibition game.

I remember telling a friend after USF defeated North Dakota that I wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing; as in, I was happy to see some South Dakota kids get a big victory, but I knew uneducated fans would throw around illogical assumption about USF as well.
