USD won't lose a close one this weekend. Akron backed out (bought out?) of the game. I don't know a darn thing about Akron's FB program but I'm guessing they would have found a way to beat the yotes.

Most likely.

Assuming its the same Akron, they are 1-5 on the year, losses coming to Penn State, Indiana, Central Michigan, Ohio and Buffalo, the lone win coming against Morgan St. Granted, none of those loses came to teams anywhere near the quality of the 'yotes.

This week they play Syracuse, who again, got nothing on the 'yotes.

I heard downtown last night that the "bye" has a potential all-american on defense. So don't look for much scoring.

BYE also has the #1 punt returner in all of college FB. 19.8 yd per return average, 6 TD's on the season. Mel Kiper's predicting a late first round selection out of him.

Bye might be a pushover on the field but it has, without a doubt, the most unique mascot. Bye is known for it's language programs. Hence, the Bye Linguals.

I think this is the second bye this year for the Yotes? Did'nt they also have a bye on Sept 12th? Whops...I guess not. That's the week they played the UNI Panthers. How did that game turn out? The Jacks just beat UNI so I wanted to compare scores. O' here it is 7-66. Holy crap. Maybe they should have scheduled the bye team a second time.
