That crack doesn't even make sense.  Considering John Daly is currently in the news for LOSING $50-60 Million, the general consensus would be that he is a horrible gambler.  Saying he bet against SDSU would be applied to the consensus in regards to his prior gambling record and most likely be thought to be another example of his poor choices as a gambler.  Thus, by trying to crack on SDSU by employing a John Daly analogy, you've actually stated the safe bet is to bet that SDSU actually wins the conference championship next year.  Just dissecting your poor attempt at humor, there.

    Milwaukee,

Your problem is that you are not looking at it like a true gambler. A losing streak in a gamblers eye's means that you are due. The problem with most gamblers is that after they have a win streak they don't quit. SDSU's football teams problem is that they haven't had a win streak since 1863. John Daly wouldn't even roll the dice and those numbers...that is if you can pull him away from playing the $5,000 slot machine

Barkley would jump on that machine before the seat cooled off.

Now both of those are funny. But you have to admit your first post didn't make sense. And, I'm married, so I'm inherently a gambler. (my own poor attempt at humor)
