After Saturday, chances are you will be back here talking Braun was hurt, the refs were terrible, we won the league half a decade ago, 11-3....
WORST case scenario, we can drive back to Fargo and talk about ButtFootball and our two time defending National Championship winning team that return 20 starters.
When Nate hits the road, it will leave a vacuum to be sure! However, there are a few young ones there that may want to fill that vacuum in one way or another. It will likely take more than one to step up and fill the void. That road will be crossed at a later date. We can still watch the gleam & shine of his SDSU career for a few months.
Who would you expect an NDSU fan to refer to as "we".

Gotcha. I thought you meant that "we've had" as teams you played this season. Makes sense now. Obviously I'm a little slow on the uptake.
“I used to be with it. But then they changed what it was. Now what I’m with isn’t it, and what’s it seems scary and wierd. It’ll happen to you.” — Abe Simpson

I do think you'll be better off than we were when Woodside graduated, the way we built that team pretty much doomed us to some lean years. But I'd do it all over again.
You guys will have some more talent to build around that is for sure, if you can find a guy that can step up and be a solid pg I think you'll be alright.
Copied this link from another thread....
Note the statement: NDSU's best win is over SDSU.
Note the statement: SDSU has a win over New Mexico - #8 in RPI
In the Oakland newspaper, a story about OU and the conference generally includes the following:
The Leathernecks began the conference season 6-0 had an 11-game win streak of their own snapped Jan. 17 by conference favorite South Dakota State (15-6, 6-2).
I guess OU didn't get the Memo from Bisonville that NDSU is the conference favorite.

Bisonbohl: I don't think the student newspaper and statements by NDSU's greatest alum, lakesnumbskull, count.
And, not playing any link game. Just offering evidence that there are parties who are relatively objective and just don't see it the way UND-wannabies see it.

Oh my bad forgot these are student newspapers and lakesbison...
Looks like my family will have to cancel our trip to Brookings this weekend. What a bummer. What? They are still going to play the game? Even with the testimony that is here before us? Lunacy. Throw in the towel.
I hope that you are not able to find the same reports after 1/26/13 That may be a turning point for the bison and the SDSU Jackrabbits! As always, the information is in constant flux until selection day or in the Summit League March 12. Until the the Tuesday evening of 3/12/2013, all this is padding the chair of discomfort. There is the remote possibility that they will call off the rest of the season and ordain the bison national champs. Meanwhile there are games to be played to influence the numbers that you quote and we can only hope you are not so vocal after Saturday afternoon. I can only hope that the refs and the crowd in Frost are in harmony that afternoon.

Agree its all talk right now and can easily change.
I was only pointing out that unlike the links Jack posted, that many non bison fans think the NDSU could win the SL. You can spin it and twist anyway you want.
