    Stay classy Vermillion!

...and I have to tell you I witnessed essentially the same behavior going the other direction. So, the point is?

The fact is, the overwhelming majority of USD fans and the overwhelming majority of SDSU fans at CAS last Saturday were very nice people, behaved appropriately, and enjoyed a good time. Both sides tend to generalize about the other group based on the actions of a few --- I've done it myself many times. [And, I'll likely do it many more times!] Such generalizations are almost always wrong. One's jerk's reaction -- and even three dozen more just like it -- doesn't serve as a valid basis for whether the group is classy.

Isn't this thread dead yet? It's certainly humorless.

I could also mention when I was in Vermillion for the basketball game and one of the USD fans tried to pick a fight with me while I was walking to the bathroom minding my own business by myself.

And while I was in Vermillion for the basketball game, I endured some good-natured ribbing from former USD fullback Tyler Evans, whom I had never met before but had watched play multiple times. He was a great guy and super nice throughout the entire game.

It seems the good natured ribbing with NDSU is always less problematic then with USD. As NDSU getting a long with us is prrobably a lot easier then it is with UND. Well besides that 1 NDSU fan but he doesnt really count. The NDSU fans that I have been around and those during the game we won in Brookings a few years back, forget which year and they were fun going back and forth with and good sports after then lost. USDs lack of fan support probably contributes to our preception of most USD fans being less then honorable foes.

Fair enough. I didn't see anything negative the other way. I saw a lot of good natured ribbing but that's not to say that the ugly wasn't there.

For me, it starts at the top at USD and that attitude filters down. They lack a lot of class down there IMHO. I'm sure there are Yote fans that say the same about us.

I just care about beating them. The rest is just noise.
