    Baylor comments if...

    What will the Baylor comments be if SDSU somehow pulls off an upset? I'll get things started:

    What they will say:

    -The Longhorns/Aggies/Buffaloes/Jayhawks/Tigers screwed us
    -The refs obviously don't know how big time basketball is played
    -Wolters is good, but he could never play in a REAL conference

    What they won't say:

    -I'm looking forward to the future of the Big 12
    -Congratulations, you guys were better than I gave you credit for
    -Wolters is good, but he could never play in a REAL conference

              You kind of wonder if they shouldn't change their mascot from the Bears to the Phoenix - - - they've certainly risen from the ashes of that debacle. SDSU went through pretty bad times at the beginning of our transition, but nothing like what Baylor endured.

                      Baylor players may not be able to find "The Pit" with a graduation rate of 38% of their ballplayers. I would assume the only offense they run is the USD three man weave.

                            Actually, if the team takes their cues from their coach they will be good sports in a loss. Their coach may have short comings when it comes to game management, but he is a stand up guy.

                            And, I am fairly certain that the refs in the NCAA Tournament understand big time basketball...just saying. They won't be the rent-a-ref that we see in the Summit far to often. If anyone is going to need to adjust to how the game is called, it will be SDSU. I have a feeling that there will be alot more "let go" during the game.

                              I seem to hear this more about him than most coaches. Maybe Rick Barnes at Texas. Maybe its because I'm a KU fan though too.
