Any other Jacks on NFL rosters? (Besides the obvious)

Witzman is in camp again with the Texans and obviously Adam V. is with the Colts. I think that's it.

Zach Zenner and the Detroit Lions take on the Jets at Ford Field tonight. Kickoff is set around 6:30. I would think Zenner should get around 5-10 carries tonight if not more. I don't think the game can be seen live, but there should be a replay of the game on the NFL network sometime tonight.

You can get a free 7-day trial of NFL Game Pass to stream the game live. Just don't forget to cancel before the deadline or you'll owe the NFL $99.

Zach has one pass reception for 1 yard in first half.

Catching more of Zach in the second half on NFL Red Zone. Announcers are very complimentary (reading from a fact sheet, no doubt, but Zach is showing his stuff based on the glimpses we've had from the game).

13 carries for 55 yards (4.2 yards per carry), 1 rec for 1 yard, and did a good job blocking and picking blitzes. His longest run was for 14 yards.

Good showing for Zach. 13 carries for 50+ yards. I thought he looked really good in pass protection/blitz pick-up.

Any chance we can move this thread to Pro Sports?

And stop the guessing game of deciphering the meaning of the statements of grammar-challenged NFL players?

I've moved the thread as suggested -- time to make room for Sam Zenner in the SDSU Football Section.

First Pre-season game: Zenner had a decent performance, but Abdullah stole the show. From what I've read, Zenner is fighting for the 4th string tailback spot vs Winn. If he doesn't win, he probably won't make the team.

Player Att Yds Yds/Att Long TD
                              Zach Zenner 13 55 4.2 14 0
                              Theo Riddick 8 35 4.4 9 0
                              Ameer Abdullah 7 67 9.6 45 0
                              Desmond Martin 5 26 5.2 13 0
