Charlie Sheen couldn’t even say it better. That’s what counts. Brad Gilbert the now tennis coach/analyst, he wrote a book about how he was successful, called winning ugly. He would basically frustrate the heck out of his opponent and wait for them to make mistakes even though they could probably overpower him our out hit him, he would do whatever it would take to win.

Denver's D and Willis are a much bigger reason for those Ws. Tebow doesn't turn the ball over which puts them into position to win. That doesn't make him good. They've also won lots of close games which has a habit of evening out. I will say though, if they win the SB this season, it will be enough to cause me to give up being an agnostic and believe in God

You never know....Baltimore and Tampa Bay, Steelers first year of Big Ben are all good examples of teams that used a serviceable, smart QB(well...I assume Ben is smart on the football field) to get a SB ring.

It doesn't help that Denver's schedule has eased up quite a bit.

They played the Chiefs, the Raiders (1st week with Palmer as st.) (AP less Vikings whose secondary I could have passed on) (Jets at home on a Thursday night after they played Sunday night) (Chargers, who missed 2 field goals) ; now they get the Cutler less and probably Forte less Bears

All what matters is winning and I get that, but until he beats a playoff team, who is healthy I'm not all for Tebowmania

They have New England after the Bears. Then we can all make judgement.

And we have a winner here!!!! The defense has been putting the offense in good position to score and holding the other teams back from scoring. Tebow is getting too much of the credit for the Broncos wins. I'm not saying he's horrible, but he isn't the only reason for the wins. So many commentators are in love with him but I don't really think they have watched him actually throw the ball in the games. Those are some aweful passes.
Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!--Bluto--

I think you got it wrong. Most espn talking heads rail on him. He isn't suppose to be brady or rogers but what I saw was him hitting his wrs for big gains. Even I'd the D gives them a chance which they do no one is saying they don't. But he still makes the plays or factors into the win either running or passing. I don't think they would be knocking on the playoffs door if orton was QB. I think most people are afraid to give him credit for helping this team. As well as the D deserving credit too.

I agree the defense has played well but wasn't it the same defense on the field while Orten was starting? Whether you like him or not Tebow is a leader. He may not look pretty all the time but his teammates believe in him and in interviews, even those who have been around a while speak as if he has taken over this team. His teammates know he will lay it on the line to win. We'll see, but I can tell you the mood in Colorado hasn't been this positive on the Broncos since 1999. Tebow owns this area right now and his teammates have bought in to his leadership. That's all that matters. If it was about looking good... one of the prettiest passers in the history of the NFL was a guy by the name of Jeff George, what a spectacular career he had.

I remember when Vince Young just won.... Everyone loved the guy, and then he was benched the following year. These type of QB's come around every few years and have a good year or 2 but the only ones that stick are ones that can develop a passing game.

Attitude and hard work are big factors here. Young won but I dont know if he had support of teammates or coaches behind him. Tebow seems to atleast have teammates on his side and I think Fox is doing the smart thing. Win with what you have. Its not like Tebow has a lot of skilled play makers around him like some teams do. Some teams have better WR and RBs yet have a much worse record IMO. That to me says good things about the coaches and the effort of the players. My buddy from Denver follows sports closely, he works the corporate office for Sports Authority and it sounds like Denver fans really havent had much to chear about for several years, so they are going to support the guy, even if he isnt the prototypical nfl passing QB.

The defense has gotten better as the year has gone on and they had injuries towards the beginning of the year. He's a likeable guy, but that doesn't make him a good QB.

He completed like 10 passes. You must have watched a totally different game than me because his passes are horrible. There are more announcers than ESPN (and I am thankful the ESPN announcers don't have to kiss the players butt and say all of them are great).

Yet he keeps winning and his teammates love him. Something most people who live in the upper Midwest and cheer for the Queens would die for. We shall see, I'd personally rather see a winner then someone who looks pretty and loses but that's just me.

Sort of like Steve Young? It seems as if everyone is looking for Peyton Manning and Tom Brady when in reality there are very few QBs in college who are even close to that level and many flame out. There is an intangible which some have and some don't.

By the way, Vince Young was benched one game for violating a team rule and emotional issues. He was injured for much of his career with the Titans. I think it was 2009, after he lost his job to Collins that he actually came off the bench and brought the Titans back from an 0-5 or 0-6 start and either made the playoffs or were on the edge of making the playoffs. Young had some (see depression) issues and had a terrible relationship with Jeff Fischer who wanted him gone (see the poor choice of Kerry Collins as starting QB).
