I am having a little trouble grasping the 5 foul bonus rule. The one and one would be in affect for the balance of that quarter? And once the quarter is over, the bonus is gone? Anyone got a clear understanding?

Yes, it would be more like how the NBA is now.

Teams will shoot 2 free throws on the 5th team foul and each subsequent foul for the rest of the quarter. It would reset at the beginning of the next qtr. There are no one and ones the way i understand it.

Yes, it would be more like how the NBA is now.

The other new women's rule similiar to the NBA is being able to call a timeout at the end of the 4th quarter or in overtime and be able to advance the ball to half court. I can't stand that one - penalizes teams that can play full-court defensive pressure.

Thanks everyone. I suspect we will have to get into the actual season to fully understand how it works.
