Signed a six year 2.25 million per year contract....not bad for somebody who was just fired.

He's a good recruiter and builds good teams. Unfortunately for him, he can never seem to get over the hump.

It'll be interesting how he does at Tennessee.

Bowling Green coach just got fired. That's an interesting spot for Nagy. Isn't the old USD AD currently there?

Greg Marshall at Wichita St gets a bump to $3+ million per year for 7 years. The plains of Kansas must be OK.

His 10 year deal will average out to $900k per season, huge money for UNI to spending.

Haven't they been having horrible budget problems. Or didn't they the last couple years?

My guess is that someone or some corp. in Waterloo-Cedar Falls area likes Ben Jacobsen and has put up the money to make it happen and doing that, the salary will not be a budget buster. I remember Ben as a player at UND back the NCC days. He seemed like a very likeable guy and a good player. I wish him well.
