I put the blame on the fan and Smart. You should never go into the stands and shove a player. That could start a riot or something and they stormed the court a little after that which could have been bad. Fans say things every game, you just can't react. I'd ban the fan from coming back to the arena though.

He is referred to as "a super fan"? I would be embarrassed to have him as a Jack fan. Smart was wrong fir pushing him but players shouldnt have to deal with that crap

I won't defend Marcus Smart's actions. But that fan definitely needs to have his (what appear to be) season tickets taken away. As a school, you can't have somebody with a history of dumba$$ery sitting 2 rows deep at every game.

Should probably change his name to Marcus Dumb.

What did the fan say to him? It could have been a racial slur, it look that way to me. Why else would he become unglued like that? Some fans are not that smart either.

You would think this would hurt Marcus Smart draft stock a little. A few games ago he stormed off the court mid game and then proceeded to kick a chair. Tonight, Marcus Smart shoved a fan and after the game, the Texas Tech fans stormed the court and he started yelling at another fan and had to be escorted off the court. He seems to have a problem letting his emotions get the best of him. Seems like he acts out when he is having a difficult night and his team is losing.

Can't believe he shoved that fan, especially when there was time on the clock and the fans hadn't even stormed the court yet. I'm guessing he'll be sitting out a few.
