It was the SLO local NBC station. They just started broadcasting Cal Poly games this year. They will be doing 3 games this season of which this was their 2nd game. Overall a good job. Pretty knowledgeable about the Yotes and towards the end of the game when they went ahead even commented that the fans watching in Brookings were likely finally enjoying the game.
Lets be completely honest. Neither program is at a very high level this year so their really shouldn't be any smack tossed around by anyone in Blue and Gold or Red and White.
Blue and Gold???? When did Augie get into this discussion?
At least they didn't 48 to seven it like the Jacks did. Or whatever the score was of that game.
We know we have our issues this year, I had read where USD was now the dominant team in South Dakota. Enjoy your game next week against Missouri S&Tl. By the way, how many D1 wins does USD have this year? I count Three. How many for SDSU? I count Three. I'll make a bet with you. SDSU will win out to finish with 5 D1 wins this year. USD will go 1-1 and end the season with... 4 D1 wins this year.

Agree. Just bored/tired of the stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid sniping at one another . . . from both directions (including from the blue side . . .)
I watched both SDSU's game and USD's game. I can't say that either team is great, and I don't think USD is any better then SDSU or vice versa. I was watching the game with a number of people, 1 of who had played at USD and we really questioned some decisions USD made in the 4th. Kicking an onside kick up 14, continuing to throw the ball while up with your backup QB in.
With Cal-Poly it seemed as if they were a different team in the second half. As if something just clicked, especially on offense, their QB really impressed me..
After watching parts of the SDSU game & all of the Yotes game, I can without a doubt say that the USD broadcast had a much better video
Digital (Poly) vs. analog (MSU) video. But the Cal Poly production as a whole sucked big time. Poor announcers. Technical problems. Weird camera angles.

How about at halftime when the sideline reporter yelled at the booth announcers that she wasn't ready with the halftime interview w/ Coach Meierkort?

I had the TV on mute while watching Stanford and USC so I can't speak to the announcers. Now that you say it, there were some weird camera angles.
USD fans are telling me they would have won by two scores if Warren didn't leave the game and therefore, based on score comparison, USD would beat SDSU by at least 4 scores. Take the polls into consideration and there is no argument. USD is a much better team than SDSU and would dominate on the field. I told them to keep believing that.

We do not see things as they are, we see things as we are.
You got it, its those darn cards. Seriously, I am thinking Ed did not want to put the ball in Poly's hands and what better way to to that than an onside, which if you lose you give up field position, but if you recover you controll the ball. Either way with defense being tired and not able to make stops you have problems holding the lead.
