I haven't looked lately to see if Chicago State has gotten their act together. They'd be perfect, if you could trust them to be a competent program (which was why they were booted from the Mid-Con in the first place, although they would tell you that they were angling for the Horizon . . . "as if!")
Metros in the approximate Summit footprint not currently hosting a Summit school (in 2010 metro population order, over 250,000) include:
Chicago
Minneapolis/St. Paul
St. Louis
Cleveland
Cincinatti
Columbus
Milwaukee
Louisville
Oklahoma City
Dayton
Grand Rapids
Akron
Toledo
Little Rock
Wichita
Madison, WI
Des Moines
Lansing-E. Lansing
Flint
Lexington-Fayette
Canton-Massilon
Davenport-Moline-Rock Island (arguably served by W. Illinois)
Springfield, MO
Peoria, IL
Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers, AR
Evansville
Ann Arbor
Rockford
South Bend-Mishawaka
Kalamazoo-Portage
Green Bay
Duluth
Fort Smith, AR
Lincoln, NE
("Footprint" being the current Summit states - Utah + Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, Kentucky, Kansas, and Arkansas"I think we'll be OK"

Re: NKU wants to go D-I
I'd completely forgotten about Kentucky in the SEC. That after three trips to TN this fall. In the area I travel to there can be only one of three answers to the question, "Who ya for?" Can I be forgiven due to Alabama/Auburn/TN overload? You know that you're over the hill when your mind makes a promise that your body can't fill. - L. George
