I just think talent is more important. That's only my opinion, though.

And I hate hate hate that people judge people's character from afar. You are in no position to say it is "obvious" that he has no character. That's a load of ****.

Does anybody know him personally? Not message board, or a friend of a friend, or any other of 3rd/4th party source.

If someone knows and can say hey, I know him and I don't think he'd be good here because of this, as far as character. If you don't I think you shouldn't comment.

Its easy for someone from IOWA to have problems because he walked out on the team for whatever reason.

I've known Brandon, Rick, and their family for a lot of years. He would be a great asset at SDSU, both on and off the field.

Brandon has made some poor choices but some of the rumors are just absurd.

Unless you are an immediate family member, I guarantee you don't. So please spare us the chest puffing.

If Stig welcomes him into the fold, I'm satisfied on the character question.

Or maybe people are confusing character with morals.

Well, we have an idea where he's probably NOT going to transfer.

"Mims said Iowa granted the release, with the stipulation that the sophomore running back cannot transfer to a Big Ten school on scholarship. Nebraska, which joins the Big Ten next season, is included in that stipulation, Mims said."

Re: Wegher released from Iowa scholarship

It's a standing Big Ten rule that an athlete cannot receive a scholarship if they transfer within the conference, regardless if they get a release. Iowa may have added the Nebraska clause as they are not yet officially part of the Big Ten.

Wasn't meant to provoke...............He has been on the campus of USD as of late. Truthfully, I think USD is under consideration, much like SDSU.

I wasn't trying to rap your knuckles specifically . . . . just thought I'd remind the natives, as I'm beginning to feel a disturbance in the Board-Force regarding this thread . . .
