A couple things are interesting - SDSU didn't stay within a budget - they over spent by $98,545. From an expense standpoint, SDSU will have approximately $1.7 million in expenses over and above USD every year because they have baseball, wrestling, and equestrian. Also, these numbers are from FY10, which means July 2009 to June 2010 I believe. This season you saw an increase in attendance at football because we had better opponents. Therefore, FY11 will have better numbers.
Are the SDSU Accountants on break or something that they never noticed that they would be over budget? someone with a USD law background is very nervous about this situation. Are you?
