I imagine that Love and Rubio won't play much past halftime if they even play until that point. Not worth the money as I would rather go to the cities and watch a competitive game where the stars play the whole game. As far as selling 75% of the tickets so far, if the prices were halfway decent they would have sold out in 10hours max IMO.

Why should the businesses involved reduce prices to "half way decent" levels for a 10-hour sellout when they can still have an easy sellout at higher prices? We are talking about a 3,500 seat arena that gets NBA teams to come to town about once per decade here.

They shouldn't. It is capitalism at its finest. God Bless America!

By the way, I didn't find your joke very funny. Maybe you should e-mail your buddy Stig again and see if he has any one-liners you could use.

Re: T-Wolves - Bucks Preseason Game Tickets

Have got my tickets and am happy to pay the price. A trip to Minneapolis for a game and overnight would cost me more than the two tickets for my wife and I. And I wouldn't be sitting in a 3200 seat arena in Minneapolis. And there is certainly a possibility we will see more of Nate than we would in later games...it's an exhibition, so no won-loss problem and as pointed out earlier, starters will probably play less than in future games. Finally, a point about the game and the prices: you can't get enough money out of a 3200 seat arena to pay two NBA teams to come to Sioux Falls for an exhibition. There is little doubt in my mind that Sanford is paying a chunk of money as a sponsor to get them to dedicate the new Pentagon.

I would tend to believe this is true. Its good for SF and SD. Here are the average attendance by franchise for 2013.
