That would be good. I have only heard good things about him.

If Langer doesn't end up at state, I'm going to be absolutely shocked.

        THURSDAY:
2:30 p.m. - 11A Championship: Dell Rapids (10-1) vs. West Central (10-1) - Gotta go with the Trojans (homer pick as a grad from WCHS) but honestly, they get to the dome they find a way to win.
        7:30 p.m. - 11B Championship: Tri-Valley (11-0) vs. McCook Central/Montrose (10-1) - Tri-Valley

        FRIDAY:
        11:00 a.m. - 9B Championship: Waverly-South Shore (11-0) vs. Avon (10-1) - Avon has too much experience for WSS
2:30 p.m. - 9A Championship: Canistota (11-0) vs. Wall (11-0) - Canistota... nobody is going to touch them.
        7:30 p.m. - 9AA Championship: Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan (10-1) bs. Kimball/White Lake (9-2) - BEE again very good team

        SATURDAY:
7:30 p.m. - 11AA Championship: Sioux Falls Roosevelt (10-1) vs. Sioux Falls Washington (9-2) - Going to go with Roosevelt.

Anybody else notice that West Central, Tri-Valley, McCook Central, Canistota, BEE all are in about a 50 mile radius of the state? A lot of talent along the I-90 corridor there.

I think I may have to go with Washington rather than Roosevelt because Washington beat us(Mitchell) and I just think that the Warriors are gonna win. Now I understand that Wall is 11-0...but Canistota...they play like nobody's business

good choice with Washington. They are playing to well at the right time of the year. Roosy has been fighting through really hard playoff games to get here. I think WHS is just a little more fine tuned for this and for the fact Washington beat roosy the last game of the regular season.

that too...if they beat roosevelt they are going to beat them again. we lost to washington and lost to them again in playoffs. it was a devastating loss though...all the students here at MHS were literally pissed off... including myself

As a former WHS grad, I was very pleased with the reasults of the playoffs so far. 5th trip in a row to the dome and could be the 3 win in a row. not to shabby.

Sign this Channing Barber up as well.

OK, he's probably not big enough but the guy can fly

Both Barber's have received interest from SDSU.

Really? I figured Channing would be a bit on the small size but that's awesome. Kid is fast.

good fast little backs seem to have good careers. hide behind linemen and fast enough to run around the big d linemen. the stealth factor.

I wouldn't be shocked if he didn't go to State. Depends on how much interest he gets from BCS schools (which he has already, although that was pre-groin injury). If a bigger school doesn't come calling then I think he's a lock to be a Jackrabbit.

Former SDSU football player Billy Kirch leads Waverly South Shore to an undefeated season capped by an absolute pounding of Avon. This was Billy"s first season as head coach. Pretty awesome.
