Danny Isaacson 6'1 171 RB/LB O'Gorman (Coach Kueter calls him one of the best athletes he has seen in 30 years of coaching and that is saying something base on the talent he has had)

Preston Evans 6'0 225 LB Roosevelt (Probably would have made elite 45 as a junior if not for missing 4 games due to injury. Known as one of the hardest hitters in the state. May be out of our reach.

Tyrel Kool 5'10 175 RB Yankton (will be considered one of the top returning running backs)
I found this group listed on Jim Stefani's web site.

Wade Hoffman OL 6'0 250 Sanborn Central South Dakota
Chance Whidby OL 6'3 240 Sturgis South Dakota
Robert Verlingo OL 6'5 225 Tri-Valley South Dakota

Coaching change going to have any affect on that?  I hope he at least considered us if we showed interest.
I heard that Riley Reiff will be going to Iowa for wrestling.
Don't know how much to read into this, but Reiff attended the Nebraska spring game last weekend. He is getting a lot of attention from several BCS schools. FWIW, posters on the Nebraska and Oklahoma boards are going nuts over him.

Now when I talked to him he said he was waiting it out, he had an offer from Nebraska and was going to go look at Wisconsin... I'm going to call him tommaro and get the down low on this.

I called him he didn't answer so I called another guy that would know whats going on and said he was unimpressed with Nebraska at the Spring game and verbelled to Iowa shortly after... When I get the full story I will post it.

I would like to remind everyone this is a thread about 2008 SDSU recruits. It is clear that Reiff is not going to be coming to SDSU. If you would like to keep talking about his future perhaps you could start a new thread under "College Athletics"

I noticed on Iowa Preps that Wyoming has come into Iowa and offered 5 players scholarships.

According to Iowa Preps SDSU and Kansas made in-school visits to Nate DeJong of Central Lyon. He is listed as athlete. Wyoming is the only school to make him offer so far.

They are reporting over on Bisonville that Preston Evans of Sioux Falls Roosevelt has verbally committed to NDSU. If true this is a huge loss as Preston is one of the premiere players in the class of 2008 and  the loss of top in-state players moving north continues. Here is his profile.

OK, so if Preston is gone, does anyone know of any other SD kids that SDSU is interested in for the class of 2008?
