C'mon. Danny Woodhead is a white RB from a D2 school and he's been in the league for years. He has over 300 total yards so far.

Have we ever thought about the fact that maybe the Lions just have a ****ty o-line and the reason none of the Lions running backs are doing well is not cause they are awful, but because there's nowhere to run?

Holy **** these threads are painful to read.

Does no one else remember how much the people on this board gave the Bucks **** for being poorly run and poorly coached cause they didn't use Nate the right way and stopped playing him the second year? And then they made the playoffs? Can we just try a little bit not to be giant homers?

I can't deny my bias in wanting Zenner to get some carries, but it does seem illogical to pound your scat backs between the tackles, especially considering how poor the Detroit offensive line has played this season.

I think the reasoning has little to nothing to do with Zach, but rather the investment the team made in Ameer Abdullah. They used a 2nd round pick on him and he's going to get every opportunity to succeed.

Zenner finally got a carry. Carried a couple of defenders for a couple extra yards

53 total yards of rushing. Abdullah did a lot of dancing, and Seattle swarmed to ball too fast for that to be effective. In the looks Zenner got, he was more north-south and worked a little better.

I'd like to see a better split in carries for the different running styles. Something similar to what the Bucs did with Alstott/Dunn in the late 90's.
