This scholarship is given to the highest achieving graduates of South Dakota high schools. Last year 1,135 scholarships were given, 452 of those students enrolled at SDSU. That is more than the other 6 public universities in the state combined. This year 1,159 were given and 461 enrolled at SDSU.
The greatest percentage, by far, of those students deemed to be the highest achieving in our state's high schools choose to attend SDSU. The best and the brightest want to continue you their education at the best and the brightest university. Excellent decision by these high achieving students.
