    Summit League Tourney Pre-Game Events

    The Alumni Association and the Sioux Empire Staters Alumni Chapter will be hosting pre-game events before the Jackrabbit games at Nutty's North. All SDSU Alumni, Jackrabbit fans, and friends are invited! Please see the details below:

    I've got a couple of nephews coming to town for the game...Will Nutty's North be kid/teen friendly or not because of the alcohol?

      I took my then 9-yr old last year. Will be even better since it is smoke-free this year. Had a lot of fun, had some good food and got to introduce her to some old friends.

      You can't teach an old dog new tricks, but you can never teach a stupid dog anything.

        It will be okay for kids. Really busy last year and maybe more so this year. Food is great but you need to understand when they are as busy as they will be its best to keep it simple. The Sioux Empire Staters provide some great pork for free, make sure and donate a little to help support them. They will have a bucket for donations. The pork sandwiches don't last long.

              A big THANK YOU to 89Rabbit and his boss (spouse) for all the hard work through the Alumni Association in making arrangements for the gathering place at Nuttys. I was walking in Sunday after the women's game and people were streaming out, saying it was too crowded. Of course, I'm thinking "Hort's" and I run in.

                I would like to thank Matt and Melissa for the event planning. Had a great time at Nutty's and saw a lot of old friends there for the event. Thanks again.
