This past week Mike Reistter passed away. Mike was a true friend to SDSU and the Brookings community. He and his family were a fixture at SDSU games for many years. His generosity was well know and he will be truely missed.

Growing up with his children I have many found memories of Mike.

He fought a courageous battle against Parkinson disease. Still, he came to the basketball games-even in the last month of his life.

Our thanks to all who posted on this site. Mike truly enjoyed South Dakota State athletics and his part as a supporter of State. Much of his love for SDSU was for the people and what State means to the Brookings community. Again, thank you all for your thoughts and for being a part of his life.

There's no doubt that Mike loved SDSU sports. He was a good guy, a good friend, and a great booster. We will miss him.
