Brookings - Melloie C. Oien, 93, of Brookings and formerly of Renner, died Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at the United Retirement Center in Brookings.


Grateful for having shared her life are her children, . . . . and Fred Oien, Brookings; her grandchildren, John and Mary Ruth Oien, both of Brookings; and many other relatives and friends.

Dr. Oien's mother was a very nice lady and led a good life...but it is always tough to lose your mother. Our sympathies and prayers go with the Oien family.
