The SDSU annual athletics report is out, and it contains tentative schedules for 2008-09. Although these dates are yet subject to change until officially released by the school, here are some of the non-conference highlights:
Men's basketball appears to open by hosting San Jose State on Nov. 14, plays four games as part of the two weekend Cancun Challenge and travels to Minnesota (Dec. 10), UNI (Dec. 21) and Iowa State (Dec. 23).
Women's basketball will host Wisconsin, Utah and Oregon in a seven-day span beginning Nov. 17, has road games at Minnesota (the day before the men's game) and Gonzaga plus three games in the Caribbean Challenge MTE.
(quote truncated)
The one I am really looking forward to the most is those three Women's Basketball home games in a week against top notch competition.
