    Mustang Raffle for The Pride

    The Pride of the Dakotas marching band is raffling of a 2007 Ford Mustang to raise funds for their upcoming trip to march in the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California on New Year's Day.

    The tickets are $10 and can be bought from any member of the Pride or a number of other locations. The car will be given away at halftime of the October 20th game against Cal-Poly. There is more information about half way down the page on the link below.

    We are very fortunate to have such an incredible band at SDSU. The performance that they gave at halftime of the game Saturday was incredible. Please help support this talented bunch of students and faculty as they take "The Pride" to California!

    Congratulations to the Pride of the Dakotas Marching Band on receiving such a great honor!

    I got my raffle ticket on Saturday. A great way to raise money for a very good cause.

        The car is going to be raffled off this week during the halftime show.

        Make sure and get your tickets and help The Pride!

        Plus, for the game and see me drive off in my sweet new ride! God that would be cool.

            I don't remember, but it was someone from MN or IA. A guy a few seats down was the winners neighbor. When they said the town the winner was from, this guy just about fell out of his seat.

              We must have been sitting prettly close together. I think the guy said that the winner was the father of one of the trombone or tuba players.

                Maybe forum members should get some secret handshake or a tatoo so we can tell who is from the forum when we see them at SDSU events!! I think my wife would really like the idea of a tatoo, NOT. My wife a daughters are always giving me crap about talking to my SDSU buddies anyway.
