STAN MARSHALL AUCTION AND GOLF TOURNEY

It is coming up on June 2nd (Auction) and 3rd (Golf Tournament)

Sounds like some changes have been made to the golf tournament and that there are still a few openings left. There is going to be one shotgun start with two teams in a group instead of morning and afternoon starts.

The link above takes you to the information page at www.gojacks.com that is devoted to the Stan Marshall event.

Sounds like some good changes to me. I'll see you there!

A whole bunch of new items have been added to the list in PDF format on the Stan Marshall website. Also, you can download the entire program. I checked it out and there are over 150 silent auction items in addition to really cool stuff up or bid in the live auction.

Check it out and get a ticket and come to the Swiftel Center next Friday!!! With the "Dueces Wild" piano show after the auction, it should be an awesome night!!! Always is!

I won't know til Friday if I can make it up to Brookings.  Does anyone know if you can get tickets at the door or do you have to have them in advance?

                        Re: 26th Annual Stan Marshall

They announced at the auction that another record was set as far as dollars raised. The entertainment was super. At the golf outing, I heard that a golfer made a hole-in-one worth $10,000.00 for himself and $10,000.00 for SDSU. I didn't ask for a name, but Coach Nagy tole me that they had another player commit to SDSU on Friday. Another great week-end in Jackrabbit land.

It was reported on KELOLand sports that the golfer was Tom Coughlin.

                          Nice shot, Tom!

You should have heard all of the yelling after Tom put it in the hole! Congrats, Tom and the best news is $10,000 towards scholarships.

What did everyone think of the new format for the golf tournament?

I know I was thrilled about not having to be ready to play at 8:00 plus we had a blast with the other group that we played with!
