I understand Coach Ekeland is in Rochester, MN. His son is being examined as a potential donor for a liver transplant. These are difficult days for the Ekeland family and prayers would help.

I too wish Mark the best. He has been a great baseball coach for SDSU. Lets hope he can come back healthy and able to take us into D1.Comment

I agree with all of the above. You couldn't find a classier guy or a more caring family than the Ekeland's. I wish the best for Coach Ekeland and his family. Until the last few years he had built one of the best programs in the nation. It would only be fitting to see him lead the baseball program into Division I.Comment
