Northern Colorado AD to Lead NAU Athletics

Not sure how many fans have heard that Jim Fallis AD at University of Northern Colorado just accepted the same postion at University of Northern Arizona. How does this help SDSU and NDSU with its quest to join the Big Sky Conference, if at all?

Mr. Fallis has done a good job at UNC with its limited interest and resources and not much passion from Alumni and fans within the State of Colorado and I wish him well.

Its a little surprising that Fallis is leaving now when UNC is right in the middle of the transition period. It makes you wonder how he stands with the UNC family, such people as the President who is a former US Sentator, the Monforts and a trustee board member from the Coors family and others.

If you look at his bio, he has moved on to better places so that maybe what going on here. I would think he will have challenges at UNA as they seem to be the step-child institution in Arizona.

Its definitely and interesting time and place of making a change in jobs.
