MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The South Dakota State volleyball team charged back from a two-games-to-one deficit to defeat Boston College in the teams' finale at the Jesuit Joust hosted by Marquette University.
Game scores were 15-30, 30-26, 22-30, 30-27 and 15-12 in favor of the Jackrabbits, who improved to 5-7 overall. SDSU trailed 11-8 in Game 5 before rallying for the victory.
Boston College dropped to 6-6. . . .
SDSU opens the home portion of its schedule Friday against National American University. Start time is 7 p.m. at Frost Arena.
