Change the Safeguards on this Board

When I first started paying attention to this board I thought it was very crude of some of the posters to refer to Brooke D i c k m e y e r as Brooke Dickmeyer.  I now find out when I used her name on another thread that there is a safeguard programed into this board that changes D i c k to Thingy.

Someone needs to change that!

Ditto. In addition, I still don't understand why the Argus Leader forum censors the letters "yed" If you type "played" into a message it displays "pla***"
Am I missing something? Why is "yed" considered improper or naughty? ???
