Now that we know the Big Sky is not an option for the forseeaable future what are going to be the next moves for SDSU to secure a conference?. I'm not fond of the Mid-Cont but do we have a choice. What about the Horizon and Missouri Valley? Do we need to worry about the Board of Regents and those in the legislature who are opposed to our move to DI and will bring up the conference issue again? Todays decision brings a lot of questions. I suppose we can survive in the stats quo for a few years as member of the Great West in Football and independent in everthing else.

Re: What's next?
There were earlier talks of a pseudo-conference of DI indy's. Can't remember all the teams, but NDSU, SDSU, Texas-CC, Texas- Pan AM, and about 4 other teams were going to help form a "scheduling alliance".
Keep the chin up, and move on. Nobody said this would be an easy path, if it was every school would be DI.
