Horizon League

What are our chances at the Horizon League and staying in the Great West Football Conference? I kinda like this league with teams like Butler, UWM, UIC, and UWGB. It is pretty close. the farthest I could find was about 900-1000 miles or so.

What if we got into this league(instead of the Mid-Con) until the MVC starts talking expansion? Has anyone heard if they were speaking of expansion...they have 9 teams right now - they could add IPFW, SDSU and NDSU to have 12 teams, maybe break them into 2 divisions.

What is everyone's thoughts on that?

I think they have every sport that the Big Sky had except for football, we could look at the Gateway football conference or just stay in the Great West Conference(although we will only have five teams if UNC leaves)
