The second is a Randall Beck article on the balancing required to keep people happy. I particularly enjoyed the following comment:

" And, except for a few folks in Vermillion in a twist over the fact that we're treating South Dakota State University like a Division I school, which it now happens to be, devotees of collegiate athletics in the area are generally a pretty civil bunch."
